Each 1250mg of the Powder Contains
250,000 USP Units of Protease
250,000 USP Units of Amylase
40,000 USP units of Lipase
Papain is at 300 TU/ 5 kilogram of the animal/porcine based enzymes.
Storage
Store in a cool and dry place – Away from sunlight, heat and moisture. No moldy or humid spaces for storage.
Always use a dry spoon.
Discard immediately if the product starts to develop an odor that wasn’t naturally there. This can happen if the product is stored improperly, exposed to air or moisture.
Feeding Instructions
1/4 TSP or 1 gm per 10 – 11kg body weight per meal in case of chronic digestive distress.
1/4 TSP or 1 gm per 10-11kg body weight per day in case of mild digestive issues.
Directly mix the recommended dosage into the meal, leave the food aside for 10 – 15 minutes before feeding.
Do not cook the meal or add very hot water if the product has been mixed. Warm water is just fine!
Start with small quantities and increase to recommended dosage.
In case your dog is doing better on lower dosage, it is safe to stick to a lower dosage. The recommended dosages are standard and we respect the fact that each dog is different and might need a lower dosage.
In case of fungal or yeast overgrowth, we recommend that you use the product with a little broth or a small snack in between meal times. Digestive enzymes destroy the yeast biofilm but if the enzymes are mixed with food, they are going to help with digestion and have no effect on the yeast.
Caution
- Do not mix with dry food, rehydrate the meal with water or bone broth before mixing the enzymes into the meal.
- Although enzymes are meant to help with digestive issues, in case of discomfort, gas, vomiting or digestive issues after consumption of enzymes – Discontinue immediately.
- It doesn’t mean that the product is bad, it just means that it isn’t suiting your dog.
