Storage
Store in a cool & dry place, avoid moldy or humid places.
Reseal the pouch well after opening or transfer to an airtight container.
Use within 3 months of opening the pack or store in the refrigerator for longer shelf life. Although the shelf life of air-dried foods is a lot longer, we don’t recommend keeping it for longer. Fats go rancid and we don’t want our dogs to get sick.
Store in the refrigerator if you have mixed the meal with water, used a wet spoon or it has been exposed to air for too long.
Feeding Instructions
Feeding Guidelines & Instructions
Recommended Daily Serving (Adjust based on activity level and body condition score [BCS]):
Small Dogs (up to 10kg) – 75-100g powder per day
Medium Dogs (10-25kg) – 200-250g powder per day
Large Dogs (25kg & above) – 250-300g powder per day
Preparation Instructions:
Rehydrate – Add water to the powder and let it sit for 5 minutes before feeding. Add 1:0.5 or 1:1 powder : water depending on how soupy your dog likes the meals.
Transition Slowly – Introduce gradually by mixing small amounts into your dog’s current food and increasing over a period of 7-10 days.
Adjust as Needed – Monitor your dog’s body condition score (BCS) and modify portion sizes accordingly.
Note: The product does not increase in volume with rehydration.
Important Considerations
- Food Sensitivities: If your dog has known allergies or intolerances to any ingredient, this meal may not be suitable.
- Complete Nutrition: For additional nutrients and variety, consider using our Base Mix as a complement.
- Hydration: Ensure fresh water is always available alongside meals, dehydrated foods have lost a lot of moisture. It is important to ensure that your dog has fresh water available at all times.
