& Free ShippingOur gently freeze-dried raw quail provides a nutrient-rich, single-protein treat that’s perfect for dogs with dietary sensitivities or those who need a clean, natural protein source. Two whole quails, weigh approximately 73-80g. The size of the quail may vary based on sourcing (we have two suppliers), but rest assured, if the quail is smaller, additional pieces will be included to ensure the total weight remains between 73-80g per two whole quails.
- Single Protein: Only quail and nothing else, ideal for dogs with food sensitivities.
- No Added Ingredients: Completely free from grains, gluten, preservatives, and synthetic vitamins and minerals.
- Freeze-Dried to Retain Nutrients: The freeze-drying process preserves the natural nutrients, enzymes, and flavor of the raw quail, ensuring your dog gets all the benefits of fresh food.
- Wholesome and Natural: A clean, high-quality snack/chew with no fillers, artificial additives, or unnecessary ingredients.
- Better Than Traditional Drying Methods: Freeze-drying removes moisture while locking in the nutritional content, unlike other drying methods that may degrade nutrients due to heat. This helps to maintain the integrity of the protein, vitamins, and minerals for a superior, more effective treat.
It’s an ideal choice for dogs on a single-protein diet or those in need of a natural, clean source of nutrition.
- Novel Protein: Quail is a unique protein source that can be ideal for dogs with food sensitivities or allergies to more common proteins like chicken or beef.
- Great for Regular Chewing: Provides a satisfying chew for dogs of all ages, from beginners to seniors, promoting dental health and helping to alleviate boredom. Specifically great for puppies and seniors.
- Neutral Protein Type: According to Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TVCM), quail is considered a neutral protein, meaning it is neither too “heaty” nor “cooling,” making it ideal for dogs with conditions like excessive heat, irritability, or dry skin.
- Supports Digestive Health: The natural, unprocessed nature of raw quail promotes better digestion, as it’s free from artificial additives and preservatives.
- Rich in Essential Nutrients: Packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals, raw quail offers a nutrient-dense option for your dog’s diet, supporting overall health, muscle development, and a shiny coat.
Antibiotic, steroid and hormone free raw quail that is freeze-dried to preserve nutrients.
Why have we broken the bank and chosen freeze-drying technology?
Nutrient Preservation: The freeze-drying process removes moisture while retaining the natural nutrients, enzymes, and flavors of the raw quail, ensuring your dog gets all the health benefits without any nutrient loss. Easy to Serve: Freeze-dried quail is lightweight and easy to handle, making it convenient for travel, training, or emergencies. Natural and Clean: Freeze-drying preserves the integrity of the raw quail, so your dog gets a clean, natural treat free from artificial additives, grains, gluten, or preservatives. Retains Freshness: Unlike traditional drying methods that use heat, freeze-drying maintains the original texture and flavor, offering a fresh and appealing taste to your dog. No browning & no shrinkage. Quick to rehydrate & serve and its as good as serving your dog fresh quail.
Why have we broken the bank and chosen freeze-drying technology?
- Store in a cool and dry place, away from mold or humidity. If you are unsure, store it in the refrigerator.
- Reseal the pack well after use.
- Use within 3 months of opening the pack. Although freeze-dried foods can last for years, we don’t want fats to go rancid and cause issues.
- Soak in water for 3 minutes before serving. Dry food is not cool even if it is species appropriate. Protect your dog’s skin & coat, kidneys and other internal organs by rehydrating foods. Moisture is one of the crucial components of a dog’s diet.
- Feed as a wholesome snack/chew in between meals. If you want to keep it light, skip a meal and feed your dog a quail! Don’t forget to share videos with us.
- 1 – 2 per day based on the size of your dog. We know that your dog might love the whole quail but take it easy, if you want to feed more quail, reduce the meal quantity. We don’t want obese dogs and the several health complications that come with obesity.
- Always monitor feeding time. Dogs are opportunistic and some of them get very excited with chews. Don’t leave them alone with a chew, watch them until they finish so you don’t have to deal with any unpleasant incidents.
- We don’t recommend these chews for XS dogs, chews should generally be the size of your dog’s head.
- Last but not least, dogs that are not used to raw chews might experience vomiting as soon as they have consumed a raw chew. It doesn’t mean that our product is bad, it just means that your dog’s body needs time to digest something new. Vomiting generally goes away after 3-4 attempts of feeding your dog raw chews. Write to us if in doubt, we are always happy to answer your questions.
