Ingredients
Our freeze-dried anchovy mousse is made from whole raw anchovies that are ground into a paste and then carefully freeze-dried to preserve their natural nutrients. This process ensures that the anchovies retain their full flavor and health benefits while remaining convenient and easy to use.
For every 500g of powder, it is equivalent to 2kg of fresh raw anchovy paste.
We provide this information so you are aware of how much to feed your dog based on the fresh conversion.
Freeze-dried foods are already high volume and won’t increase in volume with rehydration.
Please use the product sparingly, we would hate it if your dog gained weight with overuse.
Refer to feeding instructions for details on how much you can feed your dog.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from moldy and humid spaces.
After opening, reseal the pouch tightly after use or transfer to an airtight container.
For best results, use within 90 days of opening. Although freeze-dried products last a very long time, fats in foods can go rancid.
Store in the refrigerator if mixed with water or if it comes in contact with moisture.
Always use a dry spoon.
Feeding Instructions
Add hot water to rehydrate the powder or mix it into a fresh meal for easy serving.
Use the powder in treats – baked, frozen, doesn’t matter. The powder is versatile.
If you are using this product as an alternative for fresh fish, please remember that the fresh conversion is 1:4.
Example: 40g fresh fish = 10g freeze-dried mousse.
If using as a kibble topper, mix with water before adding.
We do not recommend adding powder directly to dry food unless rehydrated.
Always transition gradually: start small and increase slowly.
Suitable for all dogs, regardless of size.
Note: The product does not increase in volume with rehydration because freeze-drying does not shrink the ingredients.
