Ashwagandha

Ingredients:

Pure Ashwagandha root powder

Storage:

Store the jar in a cool and dry place.
Use within 6 months of opening the jar.

Dosage (per day):

Small dogs – 1/8 tsp
Medium to large dogs – 1/4 tsp
*1tsp of our ashwagandha powder is 2gm

Add to meals up to 3–4 times a week for general health support.
For dogs with hypothyroidism, add daily.
Start with a small amount and gradually increase to the recommended dosage.
Always observe your dog’s reaction, especially if they are sensitive to new supplements. Discontinue use if any adverse effects are noticed.

Caution:

Ashwagandha should not be used continuously for long periods, as excessive use may put strain on the liver and, in rare cases, contribute to liver damage. In most situations, it is best to use ashwagandha for up to 3 months, followed by a 1-month break before resuming, to allow the body to rest and prevent potential adverse effects.

While herbs like ashwagandha are well-documented for their supportive benefits, they are not miracle cures. They can help improve health and manage certain conditions, but they should not replace necessary medical care. Veterinary intervention is essential, and herbal support should be used alongside, not instead of, professional treatment.
