Ingredients
Whole wild caught sardines are ground into a fine paste and gently air-dried to preserve their natural nutrients and enhance digestibility. This concentrated process ensures maximum nutrient retention while removing excess moisture.
Each 1kg of air-dried mousse is equivalent to 5kg of fresh sardines, delivering a highly nutrient-dense and protein-rich meal addition for your dog. We provide fresh conversion to prevent overfeeding.
Sustainably Sourced, Seasonally Respected
We avoid sourcing fish during the monsoon season, as fishermen do not fish at this time to allow stocks to breed and replenish naturally. Instead, fresh fish is frozen in advance so it can be used during these months without impacting the breeding cycle.
Storage
Store in a cool & dry place, avoid moldy or humid places.
Reseal the pouch well after opening or transfer to an airtight container.
Use within 3 months of opening the pack or store in the refrigerator for longer shelf life. Although the shelf life of air-dried foods is a lot longer, we don’t recommend keeping it for longer. Fats go rancid and we don’t want our dogs to get sick.
Store in the refrigerator if you have mixed the meal with water, used a wet spoon or it has been exposed to air for too long.
Feeding Instructions
- Small Dogs: 10g per day
- Medium Dogs: 20g per day
- Large Dogs: 30g per day
- Cats: 1.5g per day
Alternatively, you can use 25% of the recommended fresh quantity from your pet’s diet chart.
Note: The product does not increase in volume with rehydration.
How to Serve
For optimal nutrition, simply rehydrate the air-dried fish in water (1:1 or 1:0.5) or mix the powder into your dog or cat’s fresh meal. It’s an easy, convenient way to boost their diet with essential nutrients.
If you are mixing the fish powder into kibble, please always mix with water before adding to the bowl.
If you are using the powder to make treats, the product is versatile and can be modified to required texture. You can use the powder in baked treats, popsicles or even make pill pockets with it.
I cannot comment on the quality coz I don’t use air dried fish mousse I use freeze dried products as they are a lot easier and quicker to rehydrate.
