Ingredients
Grass fed Buff – boneless, ribs, liver, heart, kidney with all other organs and glands. Beans, radish, red bell peppers, fennel bulbs, coriander, flax seeds, ginger, peppercorn, cinnamon and turmeric.
All ingredients are listed in the order of their quantity. Highest to lowest.
As you can see, we prioritize that our dogs need meat protein, organs and meaty bones!
1kg is equivalent to 4.6kg of fresh meals. Please note that the meal is not going to puff up or look higher in volume after rehydration. We mention the fresh conversion to prevent overfeeding.
Contains 85% meat (including 10% bone matter and 20% organs)
We do not use potato, sweet potato or peas as fillers. Plant & seed matter is only at 15% of the meal.
Feeding Suggestion
Small Dogs: 75-100gm powder per day
Medium Dogs: 200-250gm powder per day
Large Dogs: 250-300gm powder per day
Feeding Instructions
Monitor body condition score (BCS) and adjust meal quantities accordingly. Some dogs might require more and some might require less.
Add 1:0.5 or 1:1 water to rehydrate the meal (depending on how soupy your dog wants the meal to be), let it sit for 5 – 10 minutes before feeding. If you are in a hurry, there is no harm in feeding it right after rehydration.
If you are using this meal as a meal topper, make sure to rehydrate it before you top it up on dry food or other homemade meals.
Always transition to a new meal, start with small quantities and gradually increase to recommended quantity.
These meals have lost approximately 75 – 80% of moisture – we do not recommend feeding dry food to dogs. Moisture is crucial for digestion and to prevent several other health issues.
If your dog struggles with allergies or intolerance to any of the ingredients mentioned in the ingredient list, do not use this meal.
We recommend using our Base Mix for optimum nutrition.
Note: The product does not increase in volume with rehydration.
Storage
Store in a cool & dry place, avoid moldy or humid places.
Reseal the pouch well after opening or transfer to an airtight container.
Use within 3 months of opening the pack or store in the refrigerator for longer shelf life. Although the shelf life of air-dried foods is a lot longer, we don’t recommend keeping it for longer. Fats go rancid and we don’t want our dogs to get sick.
Store in the refrigerator if you have mixed the meal with water, used a wet spoon or it has been exposed to air for too long.
